Some provocative questions
Responses to a reader's
questions
This information is all "channeled" (a term I
really don't care for - but I'm at a loss as to how to better characterize it).
So I don't quite understand all of it - i just try and get out of the way so
that it can come through as clearly as possible. I spent several month trying to
ignore it, but the directions became so insistent that I finally had to deal
with it.
The big caveat to my answers
is that I'm largely interpreting these issues - since I don't feel that,
necessarily, I'm the author of the meditation material.
The entire goal of the meditation
cycle is to awaken the American group mind so that I can express its true will,
free from manipulation. Pretty simple. There's no agenda other than that. In the
absolute it doesn't matter which way the upcoming election turns out - the
important thing is that it accurately reflect the informed choices of the
people. Its not so much that choice has been hijacked in this country, as it is
that we've dropped the steering wheel in order to grab the remote. These
meditations are aimed at that.
Also, I
think they share a philosophical kinship with the meditations detailed in "The
Magical Battle of Britain" by Dion Fortune.
Questions: Why do you suppose that
humans will invoke this fire that
destroys the ego, when we are ego?
From my perspective, ego is only an
aspect of what we are, and the goal of spiritual evolution is to bring the ego
awareness into alignment with the truth of the soul. Ego death is usually an
important aspect of transformational experiences - from indigenous rights of
passage to western esoteric ceremonial initiations. It only when the ego has
"died" (or, more accurately, we have released primarily identifying ourselves as
the ego construct) that we can move into the transcendent awareness of unity
consciousness. I think we all have a natural evolutionary tendency toward this,
such that, when we are truly prepared for it, the opportunity will present
itself.
How to confront the shadow when
we
ourselves are that shadow?
We must confront it. By confronting it
we rob it of its power and begin to transmute it into a positive force of
evolution. By way of analogy, it's like a person with an addiction - its only
when they acknowledge the existence of the addiction that they can begin to
consciously transform their life. The actual "how" will, ultimately, be
different for each person, but hopefully the meditations act as a catalyst for
this.
Why do you think that the Fire is not
already here?
Well, I'm not sure that
I fully understand the question, but the fire is really an internal, spiritual,
alchemical, process - one that is indeed already here, but only in certain of
the population. I suppose that the goal of these meditations is to light this
fire in as many people as possible, and to fan the flames for those in whom it
might be burning low.
Why limit the meditations to America and
the US elections, a purely
mundane place and event?
Well, personally I have to challenge
this assertion. First off, I reject the idea that anywhere (or time) is
"mundane." It's only as mundane as we choose to make it in our beliefs. Next, I
believe that this is a watershed time that will have a profound impact on our
country, and the world, for many years to
come.
But these are all just my
personal prejudices. The real answer to this question is "because I was told
to."
Why burn only the material appearance,
which is
only an illusory effect?
It seems to me that the imagery of the
fire is symbolic, and, as such, speaks the language of the soul - resonating on
a number of levels beyond just the material.
What will build the New
Era?
Ultimately all humanity will. But
this is why it is so important that we think, choose and act from a state of
conscious self-determination.
