Islands in the Stream - Part 2: Sedona
The Chapel of the Holy Cross, Sedona
Arizona.
We finish up this "series" on American cathedrals with a visit to the stunning Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona - where we discover a surprising connection to New York City.
Recorded on location in Sedona, (with a guest hello by Emil Shaker) and edited on an east-bound plane somewhere over the Pacific Ocean.

Islands in the Stream - Part 1: Manhattan
St. Patrick's and St. John the Divine: Modern
American Cathedrals in the European Tradition
During a recent visit to New York I sought out a few modern urban sanctuaries: the Cathedrals of St.Patrick's and St. John the Divine on the island of Manhattan. I also try and find a different kind of "island in the stream" - searching for some stillness in the midst of a bustling JFK airport.
Recorded on location in NYC and edited on a west-bound plane somewhere over the Pacific Ocean. Apologies: the sound for today's show is substandard.
